Diversity Visa Lottery

The Diversity Visa Lottery, (also known as the Green Card lottery) is an official program of the United States Government. It was established pursuant to Sec. 203 of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Each year, 50,000 immigrant visas (Green Cards) are awarded in a lottery held by the US Department of State. Winners who are selected through the programand receive a Green Card will be able to live and work permanently in the United States.
